Job Summary:
We are seeking a Palantir-trained Data Scientist with strong expertise in Generative AI (GenAI) and data science pipelines to join our production support team. This role focuses on defect triaging, root cause analysis (RCA), code refactoring, and ensuring production-level accuracy in a Palantir Foundry environment.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience supporting production systems, debugging code, improving reliability, and performing incremental feature enhancements in data-centric applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end production support within the Palantir environment
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and triage of defects, ensuring minimal downtime
- Conduct redaction and data validation aligned with production accuracy goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and manage incidents
- Execute code refactoring and small enhancements to improve performance and maintainability
- Understand GenAI-enhanced pipelines and contribute to ongoing improvements
- Ensure timely and high-quality submissions and reporting from production systems
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science or ML Engineering, with a focus on production environments
- Prior hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, especially in production support workflows
- Familiarity with GenAI pipelines, LLMs, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) setups
- Strong programming and debugging skills in Python, SQL, or relevant scripting languages
- Experience in code review, refactoring, and managing incremental feature updates
- Ability to work in dedicated production support environments with SLA-driven goals
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with ML Ops, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices in data science environments
- Knowledge of data governance, redaction standards, and privacy compliance
- Background in performance tuning, scalability improvements, and model monitoring
