Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Product Analyst with strong domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to support a high-impact Generative AI initiative. This is a techno-functional role, ideal for an IT Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementations across front-end applications, MuleSoft APIs, and backend systems.
While Gen AI exposure is preferred, the primary requirement is solid experience in P&C insurance processes and systems, with strong technical awareness and the ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business users, product managers, and technical teams to gather and analyze functional and technical requirements for Gen AI and integration features
- Translate business objectives into clear user stories, process flows, and technical specifications
- Work closely with front-end engineers, middleware (MuleSoft), and backend developers to ensure cohesive system integration
- Align deliverables with P&C insurance workflows, underwriting rules, and regulatory standards
- Support UAT planning and execution, defect triage, and go-live coordination
- Manage product documentation using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Figma
- Participate in Agile ceremonies—backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Product Analyst or Business Analyst, including at least 1+ year in P&C Insurance(broader insurance experience acceptable with strong P&C knowledge)
- Deep understanding of policy administration, claims, underwriting, and regulatory compliance in the P&C domain
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex integration projects involving front-end interfaces, APIs (preferably MuleSoft), and backend services
- Familiarity with API integration concepts, data contracts, and end-to-end data flows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and user story documentation
- Ability to work cross-functionally with developers, QA, architects, and data teams
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to Generative AI platforms, LLMs, or prompt engineering concepts
- Familiarity with insurance platforms like Guidewire or Duck Creek
- Experience integrating AI features into customer portals or internal tools
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated environments
- Background in UI/UX collaboration, wireframing, or prototyping tools
