Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong SQL and analytical skills to support enterprise data initiatives within the banking and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex data environments, data quality, governance, and Master Data Management (MDM).

The candidate will collaborate closely with business and technology stakeholders to analyze data, identify issues, and deliver reliable data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate enterprise data across banking systems.
• Support data quality, data governance, and MDM initiatives.
• Develop complex SQL queries for data analysis, profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Partner with business and technology teams to gather data requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Perform root-cause analysis of data issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Support reporting, analytics, and operational data workflows.
• Participate in requirements gathering, testing, data validation, and production support activities.
• Document data analysis, findings, and business rules as needed.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong SQL development and analytical skills.
• Experience with data profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and practices.
• Experience working with complex enterprise data environments.
• Strong understanding of data quality and data governance concepts.
• Banking or financial services domain experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting data governance and data quality programs.
• Exposure to modern data platforms and cloud data ecosystems.
• Understanding of banking data domains such as:
  • Customer data
  • Account data
  • Transaction data
  • Reference/master data
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and enterprise data integration concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in an enterprise environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
