Position Overview:

We are seeking a GenAI Data Quality (DQ) Analyst to join our Data Management and Governance team. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in profiling large datasets across platforms like Snowflake, Palantir Foundry, and Excel. This role involves ensuring trust, scalability, and consistency of enterprise data through profiling, rules validation, and close collaboration with data engineering and governance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive data profiling across multiple source systems (Snowflake, Foundry, Excel) to surface data anomalies and characteristics
  • Identify, analyze, and document data patterns, inconsistencies, and rule violations
  • Define, refine, and validate data quality rules with developers and data quality teams
  • Raise, track, and manage data issues that could impact downstream processing or application trust
  • Provide early feedback loops during development to surface defects proactively
  • Collaborate with Data Offices and DQ teams to apply and maintain consistent business rules
  • Ensure the integrity, scalability, and sustainability of enterprise data quality practices
  • Contribute to long-term improvements in data governance and data asset reliability

Must-Have Skills

  • 5–10 years of experience in data quality analysis, profiling, or data governance
  • Hands-on expertise working with large datasets in Excel, Snowflake, and/or Palantir Foundry
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and rule creation
  • Proven ability to perform deep data analysis and identify anomalies within large, complex datasets
  • Experience writing and applying data quality rules and checks
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with developers, product teams, and business users
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Domain knowledge in the Insurance industry
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Curious and persistent in identifying the “why” behind data issues
  • Self-starter who thrives on solving data puzzles and tackling new challenges
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new tools, systems, and business domains
  • Long-term interest in shaping enterprise data governance with strategic impact
